Body Image and its Relationship to Cyberbullying of Social Networks

Abstract

This study aims to determine the accepted level of body image and cyberbullying among the study sample in general, as well as to determine the relationship between body image and cyberbullying and reveal statistically documented differences in body image according to some demographic variables ) Similarly knowing the evidenced difference Statistics on cyber bullying and demographic variables (gender, hours of social networking, department), descriptive relationship research method was used because it fits the nature of the research, the research community consisted of (1150) students, the research sample consisted of (150) university students Koya in the Faculty of Education, Measurement Body Image by Faizullah, 2023 and Electronic Violence Scale by Hamad Amin, 2022. The research instrument was distributed among the sample after extracting the psychometric characteristics of honesty and stability. SPSS was used to find and analyze the results. Data is technique Statistics (mean and standard deviation, Tai experience for an independent group, ANOVA, Pearson correlation equation), and the results of this study showed that students of the Faculty of Education prefer body image. part). The level of cyberbullying is high among the study sample, and there are no statistically significant differences in cyberbullying and its demographic variables (gender, hours of social networking, department). Finally, several recommendations were presented in light of the results.
