Abstract

The research tagged with (Comparison of Lexical and Functional Projections in Northern Kurmanji  - Bahdini Sub Dialect) to make a comparison between two types of phrases frequently used in daily conversations. Each of these expressions has its own characteristics, and the most important characteristics of it are the category of the head in the first degree, and then the determinant or complement in the second degree. This study aims to show the differences between the aforementioned omissions, which can be represented in sentences and phrases of all kinds. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and it consists of two axes. The first axis deals with a comparison of some aspects of the phrases mentioned in the research in terms of structure, components, and grammatical and semantic cases, and their measurement according to the comprehensive grammar standards. Whereas the second axis focuses on the analysis of these expressions according to some branches of the theory of control and connectivity (GB). Finally, the most important findings of the research are presented.

Shileer N. Ameen, Department of Kurdish Language, College of Languages, University of Duhok, Kurdistan Region, Iraq

Dr. Sheleer Naif Ameen Graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Kurdish Language and Literature - University of Duhok (2001 - 2002), Masters (2007) and Ph.D. (2015) in the specialty of Syntax, she received the title of assistant professor (2016) and the title of professor in (2022). She has more than 13 scientific papers and discussed many master's theses and doctoral theses.
