لە سەرەتای سەدەی بیستەمەوە ژمارەیەکی زۆر لە شاعیران و ڕۆماننوسان و ڕەخنەگران دەربارەی جەنگ شتیان نوسیوە بە هۆی جەنگی جیهانی یەکەم و دووەم و کاریگەرییەکانیان لەگەڵ ئەو جەنگانەی کە پیمپراتۆریەتی بەریتانی بەشدار بوون لەو ناوچانەی کە داگیریان کردبوون لە سەردەمی کۆلۆنیالیزمدا. بەم هۆیەوە توێژینەوەی زۆر ئەنجامدراون لەسەر جەنگ لە ئەدەبی ئینگلیزیدا هەرچەندە بە کەمی توێژینەوە لەسەرهۆکارە بنەڕتییەکانی پەیوەندی کردن بە سوپاوە کراوە لە ڕووانگەیەکی سیاسی و کۆمەڵایەتی و ئابورییەوە. بۆ پڕکردنەوەی ئەم بۆشاییە، لەم توێژینەوەدا توێژەران چوار پارچە شیعریان هەڵبژرادووە کە لە ساڵانی پێش وپاش ساڵی ١٩١٤ نوسراون و بە وردی ڕاڤەیان دەکەن بۆ دۆزینەوەی ئەو هۆکارە سەرەکییانەی کە هانی خەڵکیان داوە پەیوەندی بکەن بە سوپاوە لەو سەردەمەدا. ئەو شیعرانەی کە هەڵبژێردراون لەم توێژینەوەیەدا بریتین لە: "شکۆمەندی ئافرەت" لە نوسینی سیگفرید سەسوون، "کەم ئەندام"ی شاعیر وڵفرێد ئۆوین و "ئەو پیاوەی کە ئەو کوشتی"ی شاعیر تۆماس هاردی لەگەڵ "سەربازەکە"ی ڕوپێرت برووک. ئەم شیعرانە ("شکۆمەندی ئافرەت" و "کەم ئەندام" و "ئەو پیاوەی کە ئەو کوشتی") کە دژی جەنگن لە شیکردنەوەکەدا دەخرێنە بەرامبەر ئەو شیعرەی کە پێشوازی لە جەنگ دەکات (سەربازەکە) بۆ ئەوەی وێنەی تەواوی جەنگ بخرێتە ڕوو، وە هەموو ئەو هۆکارانەش دەستنیشان بکرێن کە هانی تاکەکان دەدەن بڕیارێکی هەڵەی ئەوتۆ بدەن کە ڕاستکردنەوەی نییە وەکو بڕیاری پەیوەندی کردن بە ڕیزەکانی سوپاوە. شیکرنەوەی ئەم دەقە ئەدەبییانە یارمەتیمان دەدەن لە ڕاستیی جەنگ و هۆکارە پاڵنەرەکانی پەیوەندی کردنی تاک بە سوپاوە تێبگەین، سەرەنجام دەرگایەک دەکاتەوە بە ڕووی ئەو کەسە ئەکادیممیانەدا کە ئامنجیان بنەبڕکردنی جەنگ و نەهێشتنی هۆکارەکانێتی.

Kurdistan M. Qadir holds the position of Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Translation, College of Languages, University of Sulaimani. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature at the College of Education, University of Sulaimani, in 2009. In 2013, she attained her Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Sheffield. Her research interests encompass interdisciplinary approaches to the analysis of English Literature, with a particular focus on the intersections of media and literature, education and literature, politics and literature, as well as history and literature. Additionally, she explores themes related to human rights, gender, feminism, and the representation of the war on terror in English literature.

Papula S. Mustafa is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Translation at the College of Languages, Sulaimani University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the College of Languages, Koya University, in 2009. Subsequently, she obtained her Master's degree in English Language and Literature from BVDU in 2014.
