The Role of Wise Leadership on Strategic Supremacy
An Analytical Study of a Sample of Employees’ Perspectives in a Number f Private Hospitals in Erbil City-Kurdistan Region of Iraq

The current study aims to analyze the relationship and influence between wise leadership, represented by its six dimensions (good governance, understanding the essence, creating a context for participation, communication skills, enhancing practical wisdom, and applying authority), and strategic sovereignty, represented by its three dimensions (area of influence, competitive formation (construction), and competitive pressure). The general framework of the study is to define the research problem, which raised several questions about the nature of the relationship and influence between the variables. To achieve this goal, a hypothetical model was designed included two hypotheses that were tested using statistical tools. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach. Data collected through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of workers in (18) private hospitals in Erbil city, Iraqi Kurdistan Region. The number of workers in the (18) hospitals surveyed was (585) health and administrative cadres, which represents the study community. The researchers distributed (310) questionnaires, (245) questionnaires were retrieved, and (65) questionnaires were excluded because they were not valid for analysis. Thus, the number of valid questionnaires for analysis reached (177), which represents the study sample. Data were analyzed using the statistical program (SPSS V.24) to test the hypotheses. The results of the statistical analysis revealed the existence of positive significant correlations and a significant impact between wise leadership and strategic sovereignty. The study recommended that administrative leaders should develop wise leadership capabilities at all organizational levels and enhance practical wisdom among all by creating common work contexts between all parties and playing a role in enhancing their strategic sovereignty.
