This paper addresses an important topic about the effects of displacement and forced camps on the host community. The main objective of this study is to investigate the impacts of forced displacement to camps on host communities, particularly in the areas of education, social structure and marriage processes, economic opportunities and social dynamics. Special attention is paid to women's experiences in the camps, including their personal freedoms and socio-economic challenges. The study reviews more than forty different studies conducted in different countries, analysing the impacts that communities faced from displacement and camp resettlement. Through a critical examination of prior literature, this study aims to assess the extent to which camps impact host communities. Bringing together a variety of results, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of the complex and multifaceted reactions of these camps in the surrounding areas. The review explores the socio-economic, political, and cultural consequences of camps. It highlights both immediate and long-term effects. The results show that camps exert significant socio-economic pressure on host communities, primarily on access to education for camp people. Increases inter-ethnic and inter-group conflict. Another result is the change in the role of women in the camps, who play different roles, and the marriage process has changed so that the marriage rates have increased in the camps. Also, the increased risk of gender-based violence against displaced girls in the camps is another result. Culturally and socially, concentration camps have a significant impact on host communities by transforming social cohesion and community relationships.
