Abstract

This paper about, The taboo in the novel (Qayamut) by Nassif Falak, discusses several topics, including the problem of the concept of prohibition, which means not touching existing sacred things, whether religious, political, or social The novel tells the story of the bloody days between 2003 and 2009 in Iraq, the suffering of this people, and how it refers to a brief life of the novelist, who was born in 1954 in Baghdad and He has several received his bachelor's degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1979. The title of the novel and the content of the novel are analyzed on the cover. The study is divided into two parts.
