تستكشف هذه الدراسة قصيدة "ون ارت" لإليزابيث بيشوب (1979) باستخدام مقاربة فريدة تجمع بين النظريات الشكلية الروسية والإطار جيفري ليتش الأسلوبي، لتقديم تحليل متعدد الاوجە للقصيدة المختارة. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إثبات القيمة الفنية الحقيقية للقصيدة، معتبرة أن الفهم الشامل للنص يتطلب دمج هذين المنهجين بدلاً من الاعتماد على تحليل أحادي الجانب. يلقي كلا النهجين الضوء على النص نفسه. كما تُسد هذه الدراسة فجوة في الأدبيات المعاصرة، كما تُسد هذه الدراسة فجوة في الأدبيات المعاصرة، مثل الاغتراب (Defamiliarization)، واللغة المجازية، والبنية والشكل، جنبًا إلى جنب مع العناصر الأسلوبية مثل المستويات الخطية، والمعجمية، والدلالية، والخطابية، من خلال فهم أفضل لكل من البنية والمحتوى العاطفي. بناءً على نتائج هذه الدراسة، ثبت أن الشكلانية والأسلوبية لا تتعارضان، بل تتكاملان. فقد تم تحليل كيفية تناغم الحكاية والسيوجيت، وركزت على التغریب كأبرز تأثير في القصيدة. وكشفت الدراسة عن بنية الفيلانيل و خيارات الأسلوبية لبيشوب، تعمل على جعل تجربة الفقدان غريبة وغير مألوفة، كاشفةً عن صراع داخلي معقد بدلاً من إتقان و السیطرة علیە. کما تسلط الضوء على استخدام التحليل الشكلي والأسلوبي لمواجهة المعاناة والحزن الإنسان.
