The Dictionary of Place Names in the Kurdish language (e.g. Vllages in the Koya region)

Abstract

This study is devoted to the dictionary of place names in the Kurdish language (e.g., villages in the Koya region) and focuses on the structure of village names and their trends in the Koya region in terms of lexical and semantic structure. The reason for choosing this title is to show the lexical and semantic structure of the place names of the villages around the city of Koya، and the discussion of the structure of place names in the Kurdish language is very little or nonexistent in independent research, so it is necessary to present this topic in the form of a dictionary of place names. In order to conduct this research, we have adopted the method of analytic acceptance, we have used the everyday spoken language of the Kurdish speakersCorrect. In addition to the introduction، the Research is divided into three sections: the first chapter provides an introduction to the dictionary in general. The second chapter specifies the names of the villages around Koya in terms of form and meaning, and in the third and final chapter, the names of the large Elenjagh plots are shown, and in the last pages, the results and sources are presented.
